Cracking windows live login was easier, and still took a lot of time. You do not need any body to tell you that google is more innovative and know the people better. It did take a lot of time to hack the gmail captcha and finally the hackers have made it.

The gmail signup page has a captcha, which avoids programmers write bots, which can create new user logins in seconds. These hackers use the bot to create a million users in a single day.

Why do hackers do this? I mean they do not need recognition, but what do they seek? #$%^!!!!@#$??

text does not appeal much in the web2.0 world and advertising giants google is riding high on adsense with more innovations. The online advertisement is more than dominated by adsense, with atleast 25% of online revenues being generated by google adsense. The advertisers also have the confidence in google and the results are often positive.

In a recent initiative, google will start selling video ads inside or along with videos on third party sites. Yume was reported as one of the sites selling google videos. Publishers will also earn money with video ads, in near future.

The google mobile operating system platform, android, will soon be used by commercial mobile manufacturers. Samsung is on the race, earlier than other mobile manufacturers. Samsung is planning to make two different systems, one scheduled roughly around september and it is more likely that the other release is made before Christmas.

But the news is supposedly not come from a very reliable resource, though the news could be quite true. A newer version of android was released earlier this week and was received with great interest from developers.

Last week the latest release of the google mobile SDK android was hot in the tech columns. However, i was keen on reading a review of the SDK, when every blog, yours truly included reported only the news on the release.

Here i did find a review of the SDK, and i found that the sdk is really good and a lot of bugs have been fixed, much to the delight of app developers. The review also says that the interface has been made more appealing compared to the earlier versions.

Search engine gaints google have indeed taken over the web search. More than 80% of the search traffic is delivered by google. I have not used a yahoo or a msn search in the past two years, not once. With widgets and inline searches available in firefox and most other apps (safari included), search means google.

When it comes to a mobile internet environment, the same rules may not apply every time. The bandwidth will be very little and there are multiple factors which determine the utilities available. For instance, you may not be able to use google docs or access youtube that easily as in a laptop.

But google dominates the web search too, and in a recent article, google has announced that it has been receiving more than 50 times the traffic from a iphone among other mobiles.

Why did not apple invent a search engine?

In what could mean news papers and rivals keep guessing even more, Google has taken its next baby step in the world of mobiles. Google today launched a new version of the Android SDK. In the andriod blog, an article stating the release was found. The newer version is called m5-rc14.

The release also supports a new user interface and they are expecting more developer comments to enhance user interface and other issues. The updated version also supports for a enhanced eclipse plugin, ready made for application developers. For those developers, the android challenge is still on.

Google Inc acquired postini for about $625 some time ago, but it did not look like a nice deal at that time. neither is the youtube deal, nor the double click. On a user perspective, youtube is great, but how google makes money from youtube is not clear, partly because it is not happening.

Finally google does make money from postini. users with spam mails and junk can now filter spam by paying google, and hence get a spam free inbox. Also if your data needs to be preserved, postini can backup your inbox in case of server crashes and you can restore your data easily.

I hope they will find out a innovative idea to mint with youtube too.

After the new release of gmail a couple of months ago, there were a few features introduced in gmail. gmail moved out of beta with that new functionality. however one thing i noticed had took a steep change. The startup time was getting worse.

Earlier gmail was the best , when it came to startup time.  But this took a toll, when it came to the new release. When viewed in a mobile or when you have a poor internet broadband speed, gmail loading time some times was more than one could wait.

To make it faster, one thing that a user could do was to make the connection type to secure. You can do so by typing in https instead of the normal http. try it and feel the difference.

After the macworld expo 2007, when apple released the iphone, we witnessed the hype the mobile got. It was a great gadget agreed, but the audience it has, even before release was awesome. Such clandestine were the operations at apple.

Some other company which was equally clandestine and also equally innovative is google. with so much hype about the much hyped google phone, google confirmed a few months back, that it was indeed working on the mobile platform software and not planning to go for a mobile itself, But still the race is pretty much on. Google is one among the few bidders for the 700 mhz spectrum.

Firefox is undoubtedly m choice of browser, among the few browsers available. One of the features why firefox rocks is that it is totally customizable by addons.

I am an ardent google worshiper and i use gmail and google reader. Google reader is really a great and stands by the google brand. now using greasemonkey scripts, via a addon called better gmail, you can now integrate gmail with google reader.

There are also a lot of other features like removing adsense and new skins and much more for you to customize.

You can download better gmail here. I also suggest you to visit the developer’s site for more updates.
