Bloggers using wordpress will know the real advantage of wordpress over other blogging platforms. There is little integration with wordpress and other social sites, from where incoming traffic is not negligible. There was a requirement to socialize with these people, who visit your blog, coming from these social sites. Stumble upon and digg are good examples. Users coming in from these sites do not know your social profiles.

Socialize me is a new wordpress plugin, which solves the above stated problem. Installation is also quite easy and so, you may be able to interact wit users coming from other websites also.

Wordpress dot com has been the best blogging platform, but it could not be run for free all through your like, like you do in blogger. Not a real problem, but we do understand that wordpress cannot offer free space, like google via blogger can afford.

There are a few things that i never understood, with regard to blogger. Can somebody answer this?

How does google make money from blogger???

They are a lot many advantages in using wordpress, and certainly wordpress beats blogger in most aspects. There was a small issue with space, however, even that has been resolved. Wordpress dot com offers a free 3 GB space from last week.

Everybody loves wordpress. One of the main reasons is that the websites running on wordpress are easy to customize, with the help of themes.Here is a small list of wordpress themes, primarily based on sports.

1. Baseball - This one is not listed on the first page of google, but has some of the best themes, i have ever seen. You deserve to be listed up on the front. Oops, i forgot something - these themes are too good to be free.

2. Basketball wordpress themes - I found one theme here, which is good, but might need more tinkering. It is a simple two column template.

3. hockey themes - Not really funky, but more than decent. may be it need a little more tinkering. Probably, i would change the header image.

4. Soccer themes - I found a couple of them, and that at the same website, and i am extremely delighted with both of them. Cool soccer themes. This soccer theme really has a wonderful header image, that belnds in to the page.

5. golf themes - I found few golf impressive themes and this golf theme looks more than ok. Continue reading »
